The Roundabout hotel is a get-away-from-it-all location in the heart of the West Sussex countryside. Elegance, peace and quiet, total comfort and personal service create a relaxed atmosphere with a hint of luxury.
Whenever you choose to stay at the Roundabout, you can be sure of one thing: it will be a truly magical experience. We are ideally positioned for those who are looking to relax in the peace and quiet of the countryside and enjoy the many varied facilities this most fascinating corner of England has to offer. Our out-of-the-way location has moved many guests to refer to the Roundabout as 'an oasis of peace'. It also means you may have some difficulty finding us, but we can assure you of a good night's sleep, hidden away in the countryside of West Sussex, and the welcome you receive when you arrive continues throughout your stay. In the style of a Tudor country house, the Roundabout is a private, independent hotel, nowhere near a roundabout but set in its own enchanting gardens. This is the ideal location from which to enjoy walking and touring the South Downs. There are also many historic houses in the area, including Parham, Petworth, Goodwood, Arundel Castle, Bignor Roman Villa and Fishbourne Roman Palace. For bird watchers, close by is the Pulborough Brooks rspb Nature Reserve and further afield is Arundel Wildfowl & Wetlands Centre.

All children are welcome. All children under 9 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All older children or adults are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2. There is no capacity for cots in the room.
If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

The elegance you come to expect around every corner at the Roundabout is truly present in our spacious restaurant. Candle-lit tables, a calm, quiet atmosphere, friendly and attentive service all combine to create the perfect setting for an intimate meal for two or a gathering of friends over good food and wine. Many of our summer guests can be found taking full advantage of our tranquil setting as they relax in our garden with afternoon tea, scones, jam and cream.
By road from Central London: Take the a3 as far as the Hook underpass, then transfer to the a243, direction Leatherhead. Take the a24 from Leatherhead. 9 miles north of Worthing, still on the a24, turn right on the Washington Roundabout to Storrington on the a283. Turn right on the mini-roundabout in Storrington and go to the crest of the hill, turn left signposted West Chiltington. The Roundabout Hotel is on the left after 1 mile. From the m25 east to west: Take Exit 7 on to the m23 (south). Turn right onto the a272 at Bolney, direction Billingshurst. Continue on the a29 to Pulborough. Turn left at the mini-roundabout to a283. 1 mile out of Pulborough bear left, signposted West Chiltington. After a mile fork right at the Hotel sign on the corner. The Roundabout Hotel is on the right after a mile. From the m25 west to east: Take Exit 9 onto the a24 at Leatherhead, then as above from Central London. From the m23: As above for m25 east to west. From the m3 (Exit 2) and m4 (Exit 4b): Transfer to m25 southbound. Take Exit 9, after which directions are as for m25 west to east. From the m27: Continue onto the a27, Chichester to Arundel. 4 miles before Arundel at Fontwell Park, turn left onto the a29. Stay on the a29 for approximately 5 miles until you come to a roundabout. Take the second exit from the roundabout onto the b2139 to Storrington. Go through Storrington and turn left at the mini-roundabout onto the b2139. Turn left at the crest of the hill, signposted West Chiltington. The Roundabout Hotel is on the left after 1 mile. By Rail: The nearest mainline station is Pulborough which lies 3 miles to the west of the Roundabout Hotel. London Victoria is approximately 45 minutes from Pulborough.
